No More Bad Hair Days...

Now I'm all about personal hygiene, but sometimes the alarm clock just seems to ring waaay too early. So for those lazy mornings when you don't have time to wash your hair, (and then dry and style it... Do boys understand the effort that goes into all these things?) use some of Oscar Blandi's Pronto Dry Shampoo. It really is a miracle worker... The first time I used it I was convinced that it was the most amazing beauty product ever invented... (My roommate told me to calm down.) But it's just so simple and easy, and it really works. Just apply the powder to the roots of your hair and voila! Clean-smelling hair with volume! And it even comes in a mini size for travel...

Frizz Factor

No one can look perfect all the time... The weather sure sees to that. (Humidity be damned!) But there is no excuse for walking down the red carpet looking like you just stuck your finger in an electric socket. This look might work on the beach, but movie premieres are a different story. The Mean Reds

Red lipstick is the perfect companion to fall's simple yet sophisticated looks. Try deep burgundy colors or orangey-reds, but keep the rest of your makeup simple and use powder to prevent shine. Look to people like Ashley Olsen and Kate Moss for modern inspiration or divas like Dita Von Teese for a more retro style. And note to beauty-novices, put highlighter (like YSL's Touche Eclat) or concealer just under the corners of your mouth and blend. It will brighten your smile in seconds and take years (ok, maybe months) off your face.

Perfectly Polished

My favorite black polish from last fall seems a little harsh against this fall's elegant clothes. Instead try deep purples, classic reds and the new hot trend... navy. File nails short to keep them looking classy.
