Shine On

For all of you that love metallics, the option this fall are bigger and better than ever. But that also means you need to be careful. A metallic belt, cute sequined top, shimmery jacket... all adorable on their own, but wear them together and you will look like you are trying to zone in on a signal from another planet.

The texture of these Belle by Sigerson Morrison 4413 Flats is delightfully quirky, and the sharp black contrast adds a dash of sophisicated flair.

The classic stylings of this Alice + Olivia Beaded Racerback Tank are modernized with a fuller cut and tunic length. The racerback also adds an unexpected sporty edge. Wear it with simple separates in more substantial wools, work fabrics or denim. Avoid wearing it with nighttime fabrics like satin because the disco era is (unfortunately) over.

The Fendi belt from last spring is sooo over that you can find knock-offs everywhere from Canal Street to Forever 21. But this skinny version in gold is a nice accent to simple suits and flowy blouses. The belt is back again this fall, so you can hit two trends with one in this cute Fendi Skinny Belt.

Bebe is a tricky place to shop... some things look like a streetwalker might wear them, but others are suprisingly cute, highlighting this seasons top trends without going overboard. This Long-Sleeve Belted Trench Coat belongs in the latter category. A simple cut in a metallic sheen, this trench is a great way to dress up casual jeans and a tee or to wear over a cute new LBD for a fun cocktail party.

This Zagliani Metallic Python Handbag is so drop-dead gorgeous that I couldn't NOT show it to you all. But in all honestly, if you don't have money to burn, please don't spend three grand on a metallic handbag.
