The Sweet Spot

Feminine charm is back. Not the babydoll proportions of this past spring, but soft volume in minimal black and white.

Mint by Jodi Arnold makes some of my all-time favorite clothes. And they cost a fraction of the designer prices for the same great quality. This Mint Color-block Pocket Top in Pearl freshens up a vintage look with adorable side pockets, while maintaining a sense of quiet sophistication.

With a demure blouse like the one above, simple dainty jewelry is the way to go. Try this Giles & Brother Fly on Heart Locket Necklace.

Sheer silk pintucks and sequin detail make this Nanette Lepore Blouse as sweet as can be. Add a skinny belt to cinch in the volume or pair it with some skinny black pants.

For a more wallet-friendly option, try this charming Silk Dot Jacquard Top by Banana Republic. It's only $68, but the flutter sleeves, shirred accents and jet black buttons make it look much more expensive.
