Designer Profile: Rachel Roy

Refined feminine clothes make up the majority of this California native's signature collection. By combining modern cuts, luxurious fabrics and intricate details, she has moved out from the shadow of her hip-hop entrepreneur husband, Damon Dash. Rachel Roy's label, based in New York, was launched in 2005 and is now carried at big name department stores like Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom. And since shopbop has their designer boutique, you can find her online as well...

Intricate pleating and satin panels add a modern touch to this effortlessly chic herringbone Stephanie Dress.

Graphic black and white never looked so elegant. Shirred organza and pinstriped cotton are an unexpected combo in this gorgeous Anne Dress.

And I know I've shown you this Grace Dress before, but its just so fantastically fabulous that I had to post it again...
