Tuesday, the CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund announced its 10 finalists:
Erin Fetherston of Fetherston Design Group;
Phillip Lim of 3.1 Phillip Lim; Rogan’s Rogan Gregory; Philip Crangi of Philip Crangi Jewelry; Scott Sternberg of Band of Outsiders; Threeasfour’s Gabriel Asfour, Angela Donhauser, and Adi Gil; Nunthirat Koi Suwannagate of Koi; Vena Cava’s Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai; Victoria Bartlett of VPL, and Michael Bastian.
The winner will be announced Nov. 15th and receives a cash prize of $200,000 and a mentorship with a top industry professional. Past winners, including
Doo Ri, and Proenza Schouler, have gone onto great success.
Over the next couple of weeks, I will be highlighting each of the 10 upcoming designers, but I have to tell you right now... My money's on
Phillip Lim.
